At the Medieval Center, we pay homage to the old crafts and keep them alive. In Sundkøbing you can meet the blacksmith, the carpenter, the painter, the weaver, the tailor, the shoemaker, and the rope maker. It is not always that the craftspeople are at home, but you are always welcome to look into their houses and workshops.

 

Our regular interpreters all have their own craft, which they specialize in and can tell a lot about. However, many of our volunteers also have a craft for which they are tremendously skilled. Here you can, among other things, meet the needle maker, the writers and painters' guild, the textile guild, and not least the market women, who specialize in the sale of various indispensable medieval articles.
