Dressing up

We have chosen an interpretation form called living history/live interpretation and our employees and volunteers are dressed in authentic contemporary clothing as part of the experience.

We put a great effort into being as authentic as possible in everything we do and show. Everything you will see at The Medieval Centre is based on historical sources.

Therfore it is normally not allowed for visitors to come dressed up in medieval clothing or costumes.
It may not possible for our guest to distinguish between another guest dressed in medieval clothes and our intrepretators.

Smaller children are exceptions.

If you as a guest wish to visit The Medieval Centre wearing medieval clothes, please contact us first with pictures of the dress, so we can approve it.
